Can I book it if my system has stopped working?
No. The System Evaluation isn't a diagnostic, repair or electrical troubleshooting visit for something that's stopped working. For that, call us for service at 847-469-9934.
When will I get my replacement proposal?
It depends on the equipment you choose and the scope of the project. Our team will let you know the next steps.
What if I decide not to replace anything?
That's completely fine. You'll still know what size system your home needs and which equipment fits it. There's no obligation to proceed with any work whatsoever.
Do I need to be home for the visit?
Yes. We need access to your home and equipment, including your furnace, AC unit and electrical panel. Plan to be present so we can walk you through the options in person.
Is this the same as a tune-up or maintenance visit?
No. A tune-up is routine maintenance, and a diagnostic or repair visit is for a system that isn't working. The System Evaluation is for planning a replacement or an electrical upgrade: we run a load calculation, size the system to your home, check your electrical panel and service, and help you choose the right equipment.
